It took George H.W. Bush to make Kennebunkport known to most of the country, but New Englanders have enjoyed this quiet coastal Maine town for years. In hot weather, beaches are a major draw, but Kennebunkport's many small boutiques, art galleries and restaurants make a visit fun at any time of year.    -Wikipedia

One weekend, my brotha-in-law (Mike) drove my favorite sistah and I to Kennebunkport

It really was a great place for there were so many great spots  I photographed.

We parked and walked the historic village of Kennebunkport.

I saw the historic sea captain’s homes and had snapshots of their yachts.

Mike also drove us along Ocean avenue.

We reached this scenic seaside where we had a good view   of Ex-President Bush’s so called “Summer White House,” the family compound of Barbara and George Bush on spectacular Walkers Point.

Kennebunkport has a reputation as a summer haven
for the upper class and is one of the wealthiest
communities in the state of Maine.
