Parsonsfield Seminary

Parsonsfield Seminary is a registered historic landmark.

History stated that it was a high school level seminary, It was also the first Free Will Baptist school in the United States . However, it was closed down in 1949.

The facility was subsequently used by the Consolidated School District until 1986, at which time the school offices moved to new quarters
A group of concerned citizens were feared of losing these historic buildings, so they formed a non-profit, non-sectarian group called "The Friends of Par Sem." to oversee the buildings.

The primary goal of this group is to refurbish the seminary campus as an artistic and cultural center.

I’ve seen pictures of my sistah at Parsonsfield Seminary on her facebook account before. Prior to going to Maine, I asked her to include it on my itinerary list.

It is a must see place since it is part of  U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Wonderful was the first thing I thought of the moment I  saw it. It was all covered with snow. It was sparkling white.

I took some photos.  I almost kiss the ground but opted to just sitting  lying down on my back.

 It was simply marvelous.
