Vegas Gambling

I aint a gambler. I don’t play game of chance. But since I went to Vegas, I decided to give it a try.  Caesar’s Palace was my choice for the casino.

It reminded me of the movie “The Hangover”. The story was about bachelor party in Las Vegas  with an episode at the rooftop of Caesars Palace, the bachelor/groom and his 3  buddies (groomsmen) were drinking shots of Jagermeister.  The funny part was when the 3 buddies woke up the following morning, they had no memory of the previous night and the bachelor was  missing. They made their way around Vegas so they can find their friend before his wedding.

Back to gambling. So, I chose Caesar’s Palace. I only intended on playing the slot machines.  It was common knowledge that Caesar’s has  high payout rates.  It means the rate of my chance of winning on a slot machine is better . It means  I get much more play for my money.

Most slot machines function the same way. I just started by pulling the handle and/or  by pressing a button to spin a series of reels. It was typically three which have pictures printed on them. I only waited for certain combinations of pictures to line up with a pay line in the middle of the viewing window. This is absolutely a "win some-lose some" kind of game. Still, I had a great time.

Queen-C, Nerrie and I spent about 2 hours at the casino. While I was enjoying the video slot machines, I learned that Vegas casinos serve free booze to all gamblers.

They'll bring you cocktails at the penny slots. I took advantage of this.  I kept asking for free beers. I did it in purpose because I wanted to be tipsy before we hit the clubs.  Just don't forget to tip the waitress a dollar a drink.
