Someone told me that the Fisherman's Wharf at San Francisco CA was famous for its clam chowder soup and one should never leave the city without trying it out.
I, of course asked my favorite cousin Joey that I wanted it and must have the taste of it.
True enough, I had enjoyed the typical tourist experience of having the clam chowder soup in sourdough bread bowls with “Zesta” Saltine Crackers.
It was literally and figuratively “to-die-for” kind thing.
I just loved the combination of chopped clams and the aromatic vegetables and creamy potatoes blended with milk and cream.
