Sunny Fields

From Santa Barbara, our bus tour group led Joey (my favorite cousin in LA) and I  to Solvang City. It took approximately about 45 minutes to get there.

Solvang is “ The Little Danish Town”  in Southern California.

Once we got into the town I no longer felt  like I was still in California. I felt like I was momentarily transported to a European city.

Everywhere  I looked, all the buildings & details were a mimic of small Danish town.

The city was so small but was a home to a number of bakeshops and restaurants which offer tourists a taste of Denmark

This is totally a different kind  of city in California a place, waving the Danish flag
