The Necessary Beijing Day Tour

Gary, my big brother and I went to Beijing on wintertime. It was freezing cold that moment so we never really planned on doing a DIY kind of trip. We opted to doing a private tour instead. The hotel where we stayed arranged the day tour via a private van.
We woke up so early in the morning.

The van picked us up from the hotel. We had an English speaking Chinese tour guide. We were also joined by a Bangladeshi named ”ISLAM”.

We weren’t able to have our breakfast so we requested to stop at McDonald's being the nearest fast food restaurant in Beijing . We grabbed a to-go morning meal.  We had the usual sausage McMuffin meal: a fresh Sausage McMuffin, a golden hash brown and a much needed cappuccino.

Our first destination was at Ming Tombs. We spent about an hour there. The Ming tombs are a collection of mausoleums built by the Chinese Ming dynasty emperors.

Next stop was a visit to Jade Carving Factory to know the methods of making Chinese Jade art pieces.

We went straight to the famous Badaling Great Wall. The tour guide stated that it was the most famous and the earliest section of Great Wall to open for the public.  We explored the wall for approximately 3 hours.

Got so tired and hungry after the wall experience so we headed immediately to have our lunch. Chinese Restaurant of course.

After Lunch, we just dropped by at the Olympic Stadium. We only took pictures outside.

We then went for a traditional Chinese foot massage. It was very relaxing and soothing.

The last stop was at Dr. Tea house. We were showed how teas are prepared and had free taste of different flavors of tea, then we got back to our hotel.
