Xmas Gift from Joey

If there is one cousin I miss the would be Joey.
She has always been so sweet and caring.

The last time I saw her was when I visited her in Los Angeles CA back in February 2014.

She never forgets special occasions like birthdays and Christmastime.

It has been over a month since Christmas but I still was able to receive a gift from her: my favorite brand of shirt with a matching greeting card.

Thank you so much Joey for always sharing your blessings and for being so sweet at all times. I love you and I miss you.

Rainbow in the City

It's not everyday that you see a rainbow.

The last time I saw one was when I was at the beach.

However, this particular day, while I was walking along Greenbelt 5 in Makati, I noticed a lot of people looking up.

I followed their gaze and I was surprised to see a wonderful rainbow above the high rise buildings.

It was like painted in the sky. So, I let out my IPhone and started taking photos of it.

WAFP Silip Pinas III Photo Exhibit

There's this Photography Club called "We Are Funtastic Philippines" or simply WAFP which holds annual photo exhibit featuring all the beautiful spots in the Philippines.

The exhibit location is in SM Pampanga.
I was lucky because my photo was chosen and included in the exhibit.

I went to SM Pampanga yesterday to see my photo at WAFP Silip Pinas III Photo Exhibit.

I ended up doing the ribbon cutting. Thank you so much WAFP.

Frappuccino Craving

I saw the advertisement of Starbucks about the new flavor of its frap.

The quintessentially festive flavor of caramelized chestnuts and subtle spices blended together with Frappuccino.

It sounded so rich and it made me crave for it.

So I gave in.

To Bee or Not To Bee

TO BEE OR NOT TO BEE  is actually a story about  a honeybee named “Buzz ”. He seems to  have a fantastic day one time. Nevertheless, he started thinking why he has to do things over and over again. He started wondering if there is a better way to do it. Moreover, he began to wonder what makes someone better than the others?

Incidentally, Buzz is being regarded as "beeing" different.  He often deals with issues of being rejected or isolated. He had so many questions and he wanted to find answers to all of them. He even came to point when he felt so low and disappointed in life.

Buzz bee eventually met an older bee named “Bert”.  He had deep conversation with him which focuses more on life, love, work, religion and even death. Moreover, they talked about sameness and difference. This book with all its 140 pages has successfully touched my mind, heart and spirit. What I like about this book is its easiness to read for the story is so short and what’s more accompanied by wonderful drawings which parallel the storyline.

I may say that I was deeply affected after putting it down. To Bee or Not to Bee is surely a very powerful and unforgettable read.
The author of TO BEE OR NOT TO BEE used a light-hearted approach which made it easy to read however, it otherwise deals with a heavy, serious topic about spirituality. The main goal of this book is to remind us who we truly are.

This book is about discovering wisdom we each have deep inside.
TO BEE OR NOT TO BEE is the kind of book that lets you discover all you can bee.  Find time to read it because after you finished, you definitely will bee surprised!

sick and tired

I hate being sick. I can't do the things that I want to do.

Nevertheless, the worst part of being sick is not knowing what to eat because my taste bud doesn't function well.

I tried eating biscuits and pineapple juice. They didn't help.

I felt so down and low.

Then I thought of the thai noodles.
That saved my day.

It made me feel good and ready to kick ass.
